Computers in Graphic

I always said that computer is used in many field and the world depends of computer in all areas for the normal function. Graphics is not an exception and the use of computer in graphic create the computer graphics that are pictures and movies created using computers by specialized graphic hardware and software.

Many powerful tools have been developed to visualize data. Computer generated imagery can be categorized into several different types, one is two dimensional and the other three dimensional and animated graphics. As technology has improved, 3 D computer graphics have become more common, but 2 D computer graphics are still widely used. Computer graphics has emerged as a sub field of computer science which studies methods for digitally synthesizing and manipulating visual content

Computer graphics displaying art and image data effectively and beautiful to the user and processing image data received from the physical world. The interaction and understanding of computers and interpretation of data has been made easier because of computer graphics. Computer graphic development has had a significant impact on many types of media and has changed positively animation, movies, advertising, video games, and graphic design.

The use of and relevance of computer graphics has blossomed in many areas in the past 20 years ranging from the studio arts to new math disciplines such as computational geometry. No doubt the most stylish use of computer graphic today is in Hollywood and on Madison Avenue, special effects, photographic manipulations, computer animation, and other digital trickery routinely spice up movies .The second important focus of computer graphic is in the scientific visualization. Computer-generated illustrations and simulations are used to depict the structure of objects that cannot otherwise be inspected because they are too small, for example, chemical compounds and crystal structures, or to large, for example, topography of distant planets, too abstract such as, multidimensional mathematical manifolds, or too dangerous such as , atmospheric condition in the eye of the hurricane. In fact, most computer graphics technologies are developed to provide some new tools to the scientific visualization community, and then later reappear in less expensive applications within other domains. The third use of computer graphics is in industrial design. Design today employ computerized visualizations and structural models to test industrial artifacts, like airplanes, vehicles, buildings, bridges, for safety, cost, utility, and efficiency before manufacturing a first physical prototype. Geometry often plays a novel role in resolving a central tension faced by industrial designers. On the other hand, it’s essential to have a precise math model and symbolic representation of a new design, so that can be exhaustively analyzed for the previously mentioned viability factors.

In summary, computer graphics is widespread today. Computer imagery is found on TV, in newspapers for example in weather report, that is so important, or for example in all kind of medical investigation and surgical procedures, that is an important aspect. A well-constructed graph can present complex statistics in a form that is easier to understand and interpret. In the media such graph are used to illustrated papers, reports, thesis and other presentation material.
